It is very rare to see a full fledge car grooming centre in a multi-storey carpark. Usually the services are only limited to car wash and internal vaccuming. Well, at Block 462A Multi-Storey Carpark, opposite Clementi Town Centre has one that has pricing catered to the heartlanders, which is relatively lower than those who operate in basement of shopping centres.

Care to try ? Their banner shows a Wash and Wax package at $28.00, with an hour of parking thrown in for free !!! Well, to confirm, visit them and enquire.

Nice and Cheap Bakery

This is actually one of my favourite bread shop in Clementi. It is located at Block 325, Clementi Avenue 3, next to the 4D shop ... For the breakfast crowd, you can see trays of freshly made bread for sale and it is just take and go, the bakery dun even need to pack and put them on display.

One of my favourite is the Custard Bread, which is only available after 4pm and it cost 60 cents, with generous custurd in soft bread. Value for $$$ and I usually buy by the half dozens home for the family. The bakery closes after 7.30pm and on Saturdays are their off days.

Chinese Cultural Night

Clementi Community Club had recently organised a Chinese Cultural Night on 24 May 2008 at her premise. It showcases hidden local talents that are so good and entertaining the night away with various Chinese musical instruments as well as an opener for all to see non-chinese in martial art moves. With this initiative, Clementi CC is looking into forming a Chinese Cultural Orchestra Group. If you would like to be part of us, drop us a note.
